Thomas Armon Pridgen (born November 23, 1983) is an American drummer, best known for his role as the drummer of The Mars Volta from 2006 until 2009. He is touring with rapper Residente and is the drummer for hardcore punk band Trash Talk, as well as his own project The Memorials.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Lewis started playing drums at age 2 and was first introduced to drums in church. [1] This is where he began to learn to play a variety of styles including gospel music, soca, calypso, reggae, zouk and funk. [2]
Soon after Blade shifted his focus to the drums throughout middle and high school.
