My previous school district in Texas ran a background check through a third party. I went in and was fingerprinted after getting hired. As others have said, it’s federal and state. This is required and standard for employers whose employees work with minors. 26 votes, 25 comments.

A subreddit for news and discussion about the state of Georgia in the Southeastern United States. The Professional Licensing Board in Macon is as bad as it gets. Hey everybody. 6. [TX] Did I get screwed on background check after 10+ years?

    www.reddit.com/r/AskHR/comments/14sftg7/tx_did_i_get_screwed_on_background...

This was a FINRA background check. So yes, it is possible it will go back 10 years. The hiring manager i was talking to through it had a charge from 1981 come up on his. That was in 2018. 37 years later. My understanding is, if stuff comes up, you are given the opportunity to give explanation.

Rude too. Take all paperwork with you. Birth certificates, passport, marriage license or divorce papers, rent and utility bills. Heck take your dogs immunization papers. I had to go back and forth three time when I moved back to Texas. I still got the wrong name on my license. 😳.

    www.reddit.com/r/texas/comments/xhf2gc/foreigner_what_is_the_proof_of_vehicle

Proof of registration is the sticker you display and/or a piece of paper, and will probably say something like "this is your proof of registration" (I'm not at home otherwise I'd check my own for exact verbiage). If you have a payment receipt that cannot be used as proof of registration, it will say that, too.

  11. Process and Tips for Licensing in Texas : r/slp - Reddit

My biggest advice is to start the process WAY in advance. In Texas, CFs are required to have an intern license, which needs to go through the application/approval process and can take weeks. Best of luck! She will need to have a job lined up and supervisor before she can get her license.
