I have managed to lose the personal the "My Documents" location in the Documents library. The simple restore libraries trick does not work. There was a recent solution given for a person who had lost their "Public Documents". I followed this line without success. Thanks for any suggestions. I think creating a new library may be the simplest answer.

The folder names 'My Documents' and 'Documents' are reserved for the operating system. Try another name such as Personal Documents. Regards. In Windows7 the Libraries/Documents location shown is simply a pointer to the real location. Its perfectly possible to move, the Documents location to a new location.
