To me a dumpster looks like a frontlift bin and a skip bin is just called a rubbish skip. Live too much ( talk ) 01:17, 18 June 2009 (UTC) [ reply ] I am from New York City and we almost universally refer to all large metal commercial waste containers as dumpsters or simply containers.
