Oak Point University, formerly Resurrection University, was a private university in Chicago, Illinois.It was founded on February 17, 1914, and had two colleges, a college of nursing and a college of health sciences, and offered undergraduate and graduate/professional programs in the health sciences with a significant focus on nursing.

In 1898, the school affiliated with the University of Chicago. During its first century of operation, more than 10,000 physicians received their training at Rush Medical College. [citation needed]
Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFU) is a private graduate school in North Chicago, Illinois.It has more than 2,000 students in six schools: Chicago Medical School, College of Health Professions, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, and School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
