Antigo (/ ˈ æ n t ɪ ˌ ɡ oʊ / AN-tih-goh) [5] is a city in and the county seat of Langlade County, Wisconsin, United States. [6] The population was 8,100 at the 2020 census.Antigo is the center of a farming and lumbering district, and its manufactured products consist principally of lumber, chairs, furniture, sashes, doors and blinds, hubs and spokes, and other wood products.

Antigo is in southern Langlade County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 31.1 square miles (80.6 km 2), of which 0.04 square miles (0.1 km 2), or 0.15%, are water. [1] The town is primarily drained by Spring Brook, a southwest-flowing tributary of the Eau Claire River.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 888 square miles (2,300 km 2), of which 871 square miles (2,260 km 2) is land and 17 square miles (44 km 2) (1.9%) is water. [5] The highest point in the county is at the foot of the Basswood Lookout Tower, west of Summit Lake (elev: 1857').
The Antigo Depot is a historic railroad station in Antigo, Wisconsin. The depot was designed in 1907 by Charles Sumner Frost of the architectural firm Frost & Granger in the Classical Revival style for the Chicago and North Western Railway. The two-story building also housed offices for a Chicago and North Western division headquarters.
