Moulvibazar District, (Bengali: মৌলভীবাজার জেলা) also spelled Moulavibazar, [2] or Maulavibazar, [3] (previous name: South Sylhet) is the southeastern district of Sylhet Division in northeastern Bangladesh, named after the town of Moulvibazar.
