"Ihr Kinderlein, kommet" ("Oh, come, little children") is a German Christmas carol.. The lyrics were written by Catholic priest and writer Christoph von Schmid in 1798. His poem "Die Kinder bei der Krippe" (The children at the manger) had originally eight verses and was first published in 1811.
O Come Little Children was recorded during the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's 2016 Christmas shows in the LDS Conference Center, featuring Rolando Villazón. [1] An album and concert DVD was released on October 7, 2017. [2] The recorded concert premiered on PBS on December 15, 2017. [3]

[ 6 ] An alternate, all-English performance of "O, Come All Ye Faithful" was recorded during the album sessions and first released in 1990 on the compilation album Cole, Christmas, & Kids .
