On 11 June 2024, Australia became the first team to qualify for the Super 8 after beating Namibia at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. England took the second qualification spot from Group B by virtue of their higher run rate after Scotland's defeat against Australia on the last match of the Group B at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground on 15 June 2024.
