In many use cases using the youtube "share button" generates a shortener that also includes a tracker, which we don't want. (edit conflict) @Makyen: the link to special:contribution/username is supplied by the software, and the $2 macro in the message is replaced by it. i do not think we can change that - our only option is to simply not include $2 in the message, and i do not think this would be a good thing. personally, i don't see why links to the help page or ...
