The 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference women's soccer season was the 36th season of women's varsity soccer in the conference. This was the first season where seventeen teams compete in the conference, after the additions of California , SMU , and Stanford on July 1, 2024.
The 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference women's soccer season was the 35th season of women's varsity soccer in the conference. North Carolina and were Florida State the defending regular season champions. Florida State was the defending ACC tournament champions. [2] Florida State successfully defended its regular season and ACC tournament title.
The California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A; formerly CCCAA) is a sports association of community colleges in the U.S. state of California. It oversees 108 athletic programs throughout the state. The organization was formed in 1929 as the California Junior College Federation to unify programs in Northern and Southern California. [1]
2015 – Three institutions joined the CCC as affiliate members: Rocky Mountain College for men's and women's soccer; Carroll College and the University of Great Falls (now the University of Providence) for men's and women's soccer and softball, all effective in the 2015–16 academic year.
2023 – Salve Regina left the CCC (and CCC Football) to join the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) after the 2022–23 academic year. 2023 – The University of Hartford joined the CCC in the 2023–24 academic year. 2023 – Johnson & Wales (RI) will join the CCC as soon as the 2025–26 academic year. The NCAA began conducting a single division Women's Soccer Championship tournament in 1982 with a 12-team tournament. The tournament became the Division I Championship in 1986, when Division III was created for non-scholarship programs.
