Bishop Amat Memorial High School is a co-ed Catholic high school serving the San Gabriel Valley in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and was founded in 1957.The campus is located in La Puente, California, approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of downtown Los Angeles in Los Angeles County.
In 2022, the school established a Music Academy, introducing students to Ensemble Performance, Contemporary Music, Music Production and Live Event Production - recording engineering and live sound. The academy is staffed by an Artist in Residence program, giving the students opportunities to learn from professional touring musicians and engineers.
The school is located in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.It was founded by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906 as a girl's day and boarding school.Although the school remains on its original site, much of the original Spanish Mission style convent, classrooms and boarders' dormitories were torn down in 1973.
