The Supreme Eiye Confraternity was established at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 1965 as the Eiye Group. [1] [2] [3] Its founders were students Goke Adeniji, Bayo Adenubi, Tunde Aluko, Bode Fadase, Dele Nwakpele, Kayode Oke, and Bode Sowunmi. [3]
The Supreme Eiye Confraternity was formed in 1958, and later became the National Association of Airlords (NAA) in 1963 at the University of Ibadan, making it the second oldest confraternity after the Pyrate Confraternity. In the 1980s confraternities spread to over 300 institutions of higher education in the country.

The National Association of Seadogs, popularly known as the Pyrates Confraternity, is a confraternity organization in Nigeria that is nominally University-based. [1] The group was founded by Professor Wole Soyinka and six students in 1952 to support human rights and social justice in Nigeria.
