The Nokia 6300 4G is a great phone to get into a dumb phone detox for $69. I haven’t run into any major issues with the OS just yet and based off my usage, I would recommend getting this phone. I got this for a 30 day experiment but the phone is going to become my new daily driver while I use my old iPhone for offline GPS/music.
Nokia 6300 4G review after a month of use. After agonising over limited options, I ordered the phone from Amazon last month and it's been my daily device since. Expectations: I wanted a phone with limited social media to combat doomscrolling. I also found the many social media apps to be overwhelming and wanted to streamline my correspondences.
Before the Nokia 6300 I was using a smartphone, but I have other feature/dumb phones, like the Nokia 3310 3G, This phone is far superior in build quality and overall usability. It's slimmer, more reactive, has a better screen and much much better battery life. Get that one instead and live without Whatsapp instead. 8.
A community about dumbphones, dumbed down smartphones, and feature phones. Join the revolution and enjoy the simple life! I finally got a Nokia 6300 4G. I felt that it was the sweet spot for my needs and wishes. I wanted it to be dumber than Android, but customizable, able to uninstall apps and install some new ones.
Signal is only compatible with Android and iOS. KaiOS just runs desktop web apps in a mobile wrapper. Signal doesn't have a web app so it's not available on KaiOS. 3. nospamboz. • 1 mo. ago. If you buy the 6300 4G in the US, it's very likely it will only work on 2G in other countries, so Whatsapp message and voice may work, but not so much Google Maps. CAT S22 is probably a better choice if you need a world phone, as it supports lots of 4G/LTE bands. Plus CAT S22 is real touchscreen Android with Google ...
I've been eyeing the single SIM Nokia 2780 Flip over the dual SIM Nokia 6300 4G, for three reasons, first I have 2 6300s already (hey, I have a lot of SIM cards), and second I noticed that the KaiOS version (3.1 vs 2.5.4) is newer on the 2780, and third the second SIM slot on the 6300 is 3G/2G-only and T-Mobile 2G reception in my area is very ...
The Nokia charger is better as a backup charger with a cable that can't get lost. Case Roxx makes a nice tpu case for the 6300 4g that makes it feel a little more solid and durable and it reminds me just a little of the iPhone 3 size in the hand when it's on but maybe you'll feel differently.
The only thing i liked about the Nokia 2780 flip was the aesthetic lol ... had the 6300 for 2 days and ...
The 225 is using the proxy opera browser and is a single core processor, the 6300 uses a native Firefox browser and is a quad core processor. The 6300 is physically longer, and really benefits from a case. Apparently the 225 uses a light and efficient operating system that's like what people remember from old feature phones, but it has to, to ...
