The Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple, Sarangpur is a Hindu temple located in Sarangpur, Gujarat and is part of the Vadtal Gadi of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya.This temple is among the most prominent sites of worship for Hanuman devotees, honoring him in the powerful form of Kashtabhanjan Dev, meaning the "Crusher of Sorrows."
Sarangpur is also known for its BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Shikharbaddha mandir, built in 1916 by Shastri Yagnapurushdas which is the second highest temple in Gujarat at exactly 108 feet (108 is an auspicious number within the Swaminarayan Sampraday). It is a headquarters and training hub for newly enrolled monks (sadhus).
The temple is constructed as per scriptural norms with intricate carving in Burma teak and sculptural art depicting deities' episodes, auspicious symbols and religious icons representing axiomatic religion and Indian culture. The temple is believed to be a valuable cultural heritage in the socio-religious history of Gujarat and India.
