This template adds an inline bar graph to tables with numeric (including negative) values that a reader may wish to compare. Use this template inside a table. The template generates either two table cells (for cases in which all values are positive) or three (to accommodate negative bars going off to the left).
Each bar can also have a comment, such as "comment7=xx" to show "(xx)" after the number in bar 7. This template creates a vertical bar chart for a set of data of your choosing, for example, charting population demographics of a location. Up to twenty graphical bars can be used along with specified colors. The graph's width is set by default, but can be changed, as well as the large and small scales.
This example shows 70% (70 out of 100), but the template is flexible and can show any positive integer out of any (equal or larger) integer. The template is 100 pixels wide, so the results are rounded to 1%. To use this, copy the above and replace the values ("70" and "100" in the middle line) and the caption ("70% of women...") with your data.
