Oonuma is the captain of the volleyball club at Fujimi High School. When Kozue and Midori first try to join their club, Oonuma and two other girls rule the club with their demands. Kozue and Midori go through many trials in the high school volleyball club before they break Oonuma's selfish exterior, and they begin to work together in the club.
Shizuka Marikawa (鞠川 静香, Marikawa Shizuka) is a nurse at Fujimi High School. At the beginning of the story, Marikawa is nearly killed by a student-turned-zombie but is saved by Saeko Busujima. She has a rather ditsy personality, and her large boobs and butt size is often used as a comical element in the story.

The story follows a group of students at Fujimi High School: Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, Saeko Busujima, Saya Takagi, and Kohta Hirano; Shizuka Marikawa, the high school's nurse, and a young girl as they fight their way to safety through the deadly streets of Japan during a worldwide catastrophic event known as the "Outbreak".
Meanwhile, kendo club president Saeko Busujima saves the school nurse, Shizuka Marikawa, from more zombies. Kohta manages to piece together a nail gun, while Takashi and Rei manage to stop the zombies on their end. As Kohta runs out of ammunition and Saya starts to buckle under the pressure, the other survivors join them to take out the zombies.
The song and its B-side "Ushirogami Hikaretai" were used as an opening theme and ending theme, respectively, of Fuji TV's anime High School! Kimengumi. Also, Kudo was featured as one of the four main vocals for Onyanko Club's eighth single "Katatsumuri Samba" released by Canyon Records on 21 May 1987. It debuted at number one on the single chart.
