Grant County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. As of the 2020 census, the population was 99,123. [1] The county seat is Ephrata, [2] and the largest city is Moses Lake. The county was formed out of Douglas County in February 1909 [3] and is named for U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant.

Crescent Bar is a resort area and census-designated place (CDP) in Grant County, Washington, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 325. [2] The CDP is on the western edge of the county, on the east side of the Columbia River. A portion of the community occupies an island (Crescent Bar) in the river.

When Grant County was created in 1909, Wilson Creek was its largest town with around 600 people. The town grew little, however, and by the mid-20th century had been surpassed by Ephrata and Quincy. Despite the slowing of growth, Wilson Creek established a port district in March 1960.
