Charles C. Platt Homestead is a historic home located at Plattsburgh in Clinton County, New York. It was built about 1802 and is a two-story, rectangular plan dwelling on a stone foundation in the Federal style. It features a one-story, gable roof rear wing with a board and batten wing behind.
[1] [2] It was designed by Charles A. Platt. [3] After the death of Ruth Pratt in 1965, it became one of the first conference center hotels in the United States in 1967. It was known as Harrison House until 1985, when it was renamed the Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center. [2]
