Oswego (/ ɒ s ˈ w iː ɡ oʊ /) is a village in Kendall and Will counties, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census , the population was 34,485. [ 3 ] Oswego is the largest municipality in Kendall County.
Oswego Township occupies the 6-mile-square-plus additional land to the south of the Fox River in northeast corner of Kendall County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 50,870 and it contained 17,914 housing units.

In Batavia, the west side trail follows a former C.&N.W.Ry. right of way past the Depot Museum. An 1854 station from the C.B.&Q.R.R. on the east side was moved across the river to its present location in 1973, as was a caboose. Both are used as exhibits, and the museum has been expanded since.
