New St. Joseph Cemetery is a Catholic cemetery located at West Eighth Street and Nebraska Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio in the Price Hill neighborhood. The original Old St. Joseph's Cemetery was founded at West Eight Street & Enright Avenue, in 1843 by Rev. John Baptist Purcell, for English speaking Catholics.
The Old Chief Joseph Gravesite is located at the northern end of Wallowa Lake, on a 5-acre (2.0 ha) site with commanding views of the lake and surrounding mountains.It is just south of Oregon Highway 351, from which an unpaved drive enters the property through a gateway in a stone wall.
Old St. Joseph's Cemetery was founded at West Eight Street & Enright Avenue, in 1843 by Reverend John Baptist Purcell. The cemetery received its first burials the same year, and there have been over 85,000 interments since. [1]
