Port of Miami is the debut studio album by American rapper Rick Ross. Originally titled Career Criminal, [1] the album was renamed, in reference to Miami being a major arrival destination for cocaine shipments to America. The album was released August 8, 2006, on Poe Boy Entertainment, Slip-n-Slide Records and Def Jam Recordings.
In March 2008, his second album Trilla was released and, as its predecessor Port of Miami had, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. [7] Its lead single " Speedin' " featuring R. Kelly peaked at number 21 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles; the next one, " The Boss " featuring T-Pain peaked at number 17 on the Hot 100.
"Push It" is the second single from rapper Rick Ross' debut album Port of Miami. It samples "Scarface (Push It to the Limit)" (keeping with the theme of the album) and the story of the video (directed by Benny Boom) has a very similar theme to the movie Scarface. It was produced by J. R. Rotem.
