Pirogue Island State Park is a public recreation area on an island in the Yellowstone River, two miles north of Miles City, Montana.The 269-acre (109 ha) state park has 2.8 miles (4.5 km) of designated hiking trails [2] and, according to the Montana Department of Tourism, "[w]ildlife viewing, fishing for sauger, river floating, and Montana moss agate hunting are popular activities."
Island Park is a city in Fremont County, Idaho, United States. The city's population was 286 at the 2010 census , up from 215 in 2000. The city was incorporated by owners of the many lodges and resorts along U.S. Route 20 in 1947, primarily to circumvent Idaho's liquor laws that prohibited the sale of liquor outside of city limits.
In December 2022, the inn was purchased for US$13.5 million by Washington-based hospitality company LOGE Camps (pronounced "lodge"), who updated the rooms and cafe. [ 2022 sale 1 ] [ 2022 sale 2 ] [ 2022 sale 3 ] The Inn reopened on September 1st, 2024.
