Another settlement on the island Paros is Lefkes (Λεύκες). Lefkes is an inland mountain village 10 km (6 mi) away from Parikia. In the late 19th century, Lefkes was the center of the municipality of Iria which belonged to the Province of Naxos until 1912. The name of the municipality Iria was one of the ancient names of Paros.
Paros (Greek: Περιφερειακή ενότητα Πάρου) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of South Aegean . [ 2 ] The regional unit covers the islands of Paros , Antiparos and several smaller islands in the Aegean Sea .

Amorgos (Greek: Αμοργός, Amorgós; pronounced) is the easternmost island of the Cyclades island group and the nearest island to the neighboring Dodecanese island group in Greece.
