With thousands of places to choose from, a new analysis revealed the top 10 "most beautiful" state parks in the country.
The state with the most national parks is California with nine, followed by Alaska with eight, Utah with five, and Colorado with four. The largest national park is Wrangell–St. Elias in Alaska: at over 8 million acres (32,375 km 2), it is larger than each of the nine smallest states.

The border between the two states runs northeast to southwest through the center of the park. The Appalachian Trail passes through the center of the park on its route from Georgia to Maine.
