Elfquest, a fantasy story about a community of elves, was launched in 1978 with art and co-writing by Wendy Pini. Richard Pini, who had been working for IBM, [ 7 ] is credited as co-writer and editor on Elfquest , as well as handling all of the publishing and business aspects of Warp Graphics.
The elves of Elfquest are broadly human in appearance, but are distinguished from humans by the following characteristics: Ears are the most obvious elfin characteristic. They are much bigger than human ears, and prominently pointed. Their tips are supported by prominent bony ridges on either side of the skull.
