  2. GEICO RV Insurance? - The RV Forum Community

Feb 27, 2008. Posts. 1,410. I've had car and motorcycle insurance with Geico for years. Prices are fair although I can get motorcycle insurance cheaper locally, but for the few dollars saved it's hardly worth the effort. Last year, when I bought my RV, I went to Geico for insurance and am happy with the results.

The other plus is with comprehensive insurance GEICO offers road side service and towing. My kid was driving my Jeep while I was on a business trip and they towed the Jeep home at no charge (50 mile limit, I think) where my kid put a new belt on. With AAA I had a similar issue and their response was that their coverage covers "me" not the vehicle.

    2. We reserved a RV from an individual owner for a spring break trip next week in Arizona thinking that it would be easy to get the required "insurance binder," since the owner made it sound very commonplace. However, after talking to my insurance agent (Allstate) in NC and talking to several other carriers (State Farm, Progressive, Geico, etc ...

Cody, Wyoming - Sometimes. Yesterday I got a certified letter from Geico informing me that they were canceling the insurance on my Freightliner FL50 medium duty truck. The reason they gave is that it has a gross weight in excess of 15,000 pounds. Incidentally Geico has insured this beast for the last 14 years and happily taken my money.

I got quote from Geico, but as I have 2 other vechiles (cars) with them, the policy limits all had to be the same for all 3 which was a deal killer for me. With a $100,000 motorhome, I wanted different coverage than for my much cheaper vechiles. This seemed very trange to me and I think I will...

I wonder how many different types of insurance there are. We’re all familiar with the most popular; auto, home, health. How about long term care insurance, pet insurance, trip insurance. Aren’t extended warranties just another type of insurance. You can purchase insurance for your tires. Medical...

Geico / Safeco $ 2,000+. Progressive $1601 to $1715 depending on payment plan or paid annually. National General $1097 (this is full coverage for a full year. When unused for 30 days or more, collision coverages can be removed for the period of storage, reducing costs.)

  9. "RV" Insurance for Truck Campers? | The RV Forum Community

Southern California. If you're talking $1,000 a year for just the camper, then you should look at other insurers. If that's for the truck and camper, then maybe you're not going to find a much better deal. Still, I'd get a quote from GEICO. I had them for 10 years and recently switched to the Auto Club.

  10. Will my RV insurance cover a cracked frame

    www.rvforum.net/threads/will-my-rv-insurance-cover-a-cracked-frame.118002

    694. My insurance totaled our trailer for a cracked (ripped, torn) frame. We were lucky I discovered it at low speed or someone could have gotten killed. I tried getting Forest River-Coachmen and Lippert to compensate us for the difference. The TT was less than 3 years old.

  11. Warning! Geico is NOT fulltime insurance in Texas

    www.rvforum.net/threads/warning-geico-is-not-fulltime-insurance-in-texas.102378

I just spent an hour on the phone getting a quote for fulltimer's insurance from Geico. When the agent first answered the phone and I said I wanted fulltimer RV insurance, he said I'd come to the right place, that they specialize in fulltimer coverage. Great! After I gave him all my...
