The Good Sam/Integon National policy allows for savings if the insurer is notified the RV will be idle (in storage/not on the road) for periods of time. As far as cost, annual premium was about half as much as State Farm's ($683 vs $1235).

Judy: I have found better prices for RV Insurance at Progressive, I tried GMAC through the Good Sam website and found it to be higher. Progressive offers the same credit for "part time" RV use and they credit you cost wise for the time your RV is not used or kept in storage.
There are so many criteria that goes into acquiring insurance on an RV or anything for that matter. On our current rig, a 2021 DS 4081, the most difficult thing was even finding carriers that would even insure a coach of this value. Once you get over the $250-300K valuation, many carriers will not insure those.
Give Miller RV Insurance a call 800-622-6347. They are a broker specializing in insurance for RV's and are very well known on the forums. They put me through Progressive and I've been very happy with the insurance and the service. Harry _____
