Ohio's 2nd senatorial district has historically represented areas located in northwestern Ohio. It now stretches along the Great Lakes. A multi-county district, it currently comprises the counties of Erie, Ottawa and Wood, as well as, portions of the counties of Fulton and Lucas. It encompasses Ohio House of Representatives districts 3, 47 and 89.
Ohio was admitted to the Union on March 1, 1803, and elects U.S. senators to class 1 and class 3.Its current U.S. senators are Republicans Bernie Moreno (serving since 2025) and Jon Husted (serving since 2025).

Ohio's 2nd congressional district is a district in southern Ohio. It is currently represented by Republican David Taylor. The district includes all of Adams, Brown, Pike, Clermont, Highland, Clinton, Ross, Pickaway, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Gallia, Meigs, Lawrence, and Scioto counties, as well as parts of Fayette county.
