This is a list of member stations of the Public Broadcasting Service, a network of non-commercial educational television stations in the United States.The list is arranged alphabetically by state and based on the station's city of license and followed in parentheses by the designated market area when different from the city of license.
Each network sends its signal to many local affiliate television stations across the country. These local stations then air the "network feed", with programs broadcast by each network being viewed by up to tens of millions of households across the country. In the case of the largest networks, the signal is sent to over 200 stations.
The station's advertised channel number follows the call letters. In most cases, this is their over-the-air broadcast frequency. Excluded from this list are satellite stations and affiliates of secondary television networks. Independent stations with secondary affiliations to major networks, however, are included.

According to the IFT, as of June 21, 2017, there are, 411 commercial television networks, 52 educational television networks, 7 Regional television networks. and 183 State-level television networks. These lists only cover broadcast stations.

Despite the fact that Philo Farnsworth first demonstrated fully electronic television in San Francisco in 1928, there were no experimental prewar television stations broadcasting in the Bay Area. KPIX, California's first television station, started broadcasts in 1948, with KRON and KGO soon following suit.
