Aftermath: Population Zero (also titled Aftermath: The World After Humans) [1] is a Canadian special documentary film that premiered on Sunday, March 9, 2008 (at 8:00 PM ET/PT) on the National Geographic Channel. The program was produced by Cream Productions.
Aftermath consists of thought experiments looking at what would happen to Earth if extremely distant events and changes occurred in the present. The series is a follow-up to the TV special Aftermath: Population Zero. In 2010, the series was nominated for a 2010 Gemini Award for best documentary. [1]
Aftermath: Population Zero is the same as the above, but gives more detail into certain things. The Future Is Wild, while not seeking to explain our disappearance, shows how life on Earth (without humans) would evolve 5, 100 and 200 million years in the future.
