PIEAS is an associate of PERN network and has access to HEC Digital Library that can be accessed from any one of the 1500 nodes of PIEAS Local Area Network. Internet facilities are available even in student hostels. The PIEAS library holds a repository of more than 15000 artifacts and it also subscribes to both technical and academic journals.

Up to date, the HEC has published rankings for the years 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014 and most recently 2015. [2] In addition to the top ten and general rankings, independent rankings are also provided for universities and institutes in the categories of agriculture and veterinary science; arts and design; business; engineering and technology; and medicine. NUML has a valid subscription to HEC digital library, which is extended to faculty, students and researchers. Additional digital library resources are arranged from the HEC which include IEEE and ACM etc. Access of Digital Library resources (on-campus and off-campus) for the students and researches are arranged.
The library is also a member of the HEC's National Digital Library Program which provides on-campus access to 22,000 electronic journals and about 140,000 e-books. [34] The library facilities include six discussion rooms, fifty-six study carrels, and seventy computers for research purposes. [34]
The library allows students access to electronic journals under a “Digital Library Program”, a Higher Education Council (HEC) funded project for both public and private universities. Moreover, the university provides free books to the students for a semester period.
