Fr. Losar was the first parish priest of the church. In 1624, the whole town of Tacboan was relocated and it was called Indan where a new church was built with the same patron saint, St. Peter the Apostle. In 1636, the missionaries established a church of Labo combining with Indan. In 1661, the secular clergy started administering the church.

The Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, also known as Daet Cathedral, is a prominent Latin Rite Roman Catholic cathedral located in Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines.It was erected in 1984 and serves as the seat of the Diocese of Daet, which was created by a papal bull on May 27, 1974.
Church interior in 2024 The municipality of Daet was founded by the Franciscan missionaries in 1581. It was later abandoned for some years until 1611, when Rev. Fr. Alonzo de Valdemoro, OFM, was appointed minister (Parish Priest).
