Playful Pluto (1934) is a Walt Disney cartoon, directed by Burt Gillett. It was the first cartoon to showcase Pluto as a major character. It was the 65th Mickey Mouse short film , and the third of that year.
Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures centers around the Sensational Six (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto) as they live and race around their town of Hot Dog Hills and around the world. Unlike the previous series, this show contains two 11-minute stories as opposed to Clubhouse ' s full-length 22-minute stories.
Soon after, Mickey and Pluto arrive for the hunting season. Pluto soon discovers that the chipmunks are in the stove, and helps Mickey build a fire to smoke them out. Chip and Dale realize what is happening and manage to blow out Mickey's matches. From a hiding place underneath the stove, the chipmunks take a match and burns Mickey's foot with it.

In Mickey's house, Chip and Dale are fascinated by the sparkling balls. They try to get the candy canes but Pluto spots them. After Chip and Dale have a long and mischievous tackle with Pluto, the tree gets destroyed, but Mickey is delighted to have the chipmunks.
