    Posts. 831. Thanks. 1,327. Thanked 828 Times in 488 Posts. I would imagine it hurts like it does for humans. Their eyes are adapted for darkness and they instinctively hide from bright light. Not sure if it's ever been shown scientifically to cause harm but I just assume that it does.

    Snakes are not dangerous only stupid parents. I have 3 our of the 5 worlds largest constrictors and never ever worry about my children. If I thought for a second one could come into contact with one of my kids I would not own them.
