Patrick Martin Stumph (born April 27, 1984), known professionally as Patrick Vaughn Stump, [9] [10] is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Fall Out Boy, originally from Wilmette, Illinois.
The son of a cardiologist, [9] Trohman was born in Hollywood, Florida. [10] He was raised in South Russell, Ohio, before his family moved to the Chicago area. [11] His family is Jewish, although he noted to JVibe, "I think we were more Jewish culturally than we were religiously because after my brother's bar mitzvah, we stopped going to synagogue entirely."
