7. Posted April 9, 2014. What is DHT? I have read in an article that keeping it disabled is recommended. Some explanation would be good.
The simple approach is to run two distinct DHTs at the same time, one for IPv4, and one for IPv6. This doubles the total amount of DHT traffic, but yields a simple, clean protocol. The slightly-less-simple approach is to run two instances of the DHT, but allow leaking of information between IPv4 and IPv6. I.e. an IPv4 node can say ``by the way ...
Posted December 6, 2014. Ok for all of you having trouble with DHT log in. Look at your Internet Security program you are using and see if you have Web Protection setting. If you are using Norton Internet Security if you look at Download Intelligence disable it and restart UTorrent.

First, I thought that PEX was not the same across clients so that our version is not the same as say Azureus's version. Nope, There's a standard in accepting the protocol. If your router and connection happen to be able to handle all the UDP packets generated by DHT, then there isn't too much reason not to leave it enabled. On the other hand, many users do have shoddy network hardware/connections, so leaving ...
DHT: 0 nodes. First, I'm sorry for creating a new post on a topic that has already received a lot of attention, but I'm afraid I am also experiencing DHT problems after downloading the latest release of utorrent. As far as I know, this is not a firewall issue, and I have temporarily uninstalled all anti-virus software.
