This is a list of the tallest buildings in the city of Yangon. The list includes habitable buildings standing at or above 90 metres (295 ft) but excludes other tall structures such as the Shwedagon Pagoda in the city proper, or buildings elsewhere in the Yangon Region , such as those in Thanlyin .
The plan of Mandalay Palace largely follows the traditional Burmese palace design; it is inside a walled fort surrounded by a moat. The palace itself is at the centre of the citadel and faces east.
