Leander Henry Perez Sr. (July 16, 1891 – March 19, 1969) was an American Democratic Party political boss of Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes in southeastern Louisiana during the middle third of the 20th century.
Dyer was born in East Baton Rouge parish, Louisiana, in 1924. [3] He attended Louisiana State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and law degree. [4] He served in the United States Army Air Corps. [4] In 1960, Dyer was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives. [2] He represented East Baton Rouge, Louisiana. [2]
