Arcanum's many bugs and the unofficial fix was big news for Arcanum's fanbase so it would be remiss to not mention it if we're going to be writing about a game as obscure as Arcanum anyway. Besides there is plenty of precedent for mentioning unofficial mods that have made a big impact on the game's community such as Freespace and Bloodlines.
