Highest ranked universities in Germany include some research oriented universities for MS, MBA, medical and engineering. [ 2 ] The list does not, however, cover the German Fachhochschulen (University of Applied Sciences ) or institutions that cover only certain disciplines such as business studies , fine arts , or engineering .
It offers workplace-focused, cooperative degree courses. This means that students alternate between learning the theory at school and applying it on the job in a three-months rhythm. Young people from over 40 countries study at Coburg University.
The 4,900 students (2021/22) include about 1,700 who come from around 100 nations outside Germany. [3] The courses they take lead to bachelor's and/or master's degrees in which the subjects tend to be drawn from a number of disciplines within the overall groups of engineering, mathematics with science, and economics with social studies.
The University of the Bundeswehr Munich offers normal research university courses of studies as well as a few more practical oriented Fachhochschule (University of Applied Sciences) study courses. In total there are 37 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.
