Than Sadet–Ko Pha-ngan (Thai: ธารเสด็จ-เกาะพะงัน) is a national park in southern Thailand, with an area of 26,866 rai ~ 43 km 2 (17 sq mi) [2]: 132 mostly on the island Pha-ngan. The park was established on 22 November 2018. [3] It covers parts of the 65 km 2 (25 sq mi) Ko Pha-ngan island.

Ko Pha-ngan [1] (Thai: เกาะพะงัน, RTGS: Ko Pha-ngan, pronounced [kɔ̀ʔ pʰā.ŋān]) is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in Surat Thani Province of southern Thailand. [2] Ko Pha-ngan has two sister islands: the larger Ko Samui to the south and the smaller Ko Tao to the north.
The northern tip of Ko Phaluai is also part of the marine park. There is a ranger station, bungalows, a shop, and a restaurant at Ao Phi Beach on Ko Wua Talap. Khao Sok National Park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon rainforest.

Phang Nga Bay Marine National Park was declared a protected Ramsar Site (no. 1185) of international ecological significance on 14 August 2002. Phang Nga is a shallow bay with 42 islands, comprising shallow marine waters and intertidal forested wetlands, with at least 28 species of mangrove; seagrass beds and coral reefs are also present.
