Zia Ul Haq is a Pakistani academic and public health professional, currently serving as the vice-chancellor of Khyber Medical University (KMU) since 2020. Appointed in at the age of 40, he is the youngest vice-chancellor in the country. [1] He is also president of Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE). [2]

At first, it was started as a medical college collaborating with Mohammad Ali Hospital, Bogra.In 2006, a brand new hospital and college campus was constructed on the outskirts of Bogra city, beside the Dhaka-Rangpur highway, named on the basis of once President Ziaur Rahman, who was born at Bogra.
