Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the CART Indy Car World Series became the pre-eminent open-wheel auto racing series in North America. It features a diverse schedule of superspeedways, short ovals, road courses, and street circuit. The CART-based teams continued to compete at the Indianapolis 500, essentially as a one-off.
K1 Speed is an American go-kart racetrack franchise based in Irvine, California. Kart racing or karting is a motorsport discipline using open-wheel, four-wheeled vehicles known as go-karts or shifter karts. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits, although some professional kart races are also held on full-size motorsport circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher ranks of motorsports.
Sprint and sprint-enduro classes have 30-minute races and laydown-enduro style classes have 45-minute races. Through the mid-1980s, laydown-enduro races were 1 hour in length, hence the name "enduro," short for endurance. Most drivers have a timer mounted on their kart so they know what stage the race is at and when the final lap will be.
New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road course "Motorsports Entertainment Complex" located in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States.It has hosted races since opening in 2008 and currently hosts a schedule including MotoAmerica Pro Road Racing, 24 Hours of LeMons, American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association, SCCA events, SCCA Pro Racing's F2000 Championship Series.

Upon retiring from karting in 1984, Fullerton became a driver manager, coaching 2010 junior direct-drive World Champion and Formula E World Champion Jake Dennis, two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Allan McNish, two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon, as well as Formula One drivers Paul di Resta and Anthony Davidson.
