With more than 6,000 words, the Farhang-e Soruri is primarily composed of old Persian words that were scarcely used in the 17th-century but were used by early Persian poets. Vis and Rāmin (Persian: ويس و رامين, Vis o Rāmin) is a classical Persian romantic tale. The epic was composed in poetry by Fakhruddin As'ad Gurgani (or "Gorgani") in the 11th century.
