Movie Park Germany is a theme park in Bottrop-Kirchhellen in western Germany, 50 kilometres (30 mi) north of Düsseldorf, with an area of 40 hectares (100 acres). It consists of 7 areas based on movies and TV series .

The first Roxy Theatre was installed at Warner Bros. Movie World ahead of the park's opening on 3 June 1991. A replica was later built at Movie Park Germany (which was known as Warner Bros. Movie World Germany at the time). In 2005, the theatre underwent a major refurbishment which included the installation of 4D motion seats. [1]

[4] This acquisition resulted in various Warner Bros.-licensed properties being removed from the park including DC Comics, Gremlins and Looney Tunes. Warner Bros. Classics and The Great Gremlin Adventure was a dark ride located at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Australia, and Warner Bros. Movie World in Bottrop, Germany (now Movie Park Germany). The ride has been replaced with the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster and Van Helsing's Factory in the two parks respectively.
