Brian William Barnes (3 June 1945 – 9 September 2019) was a Scottish professional golfer. He won nine times on the European Tour between 1972 and 1981, and twice won the Senior British Open . Barnes played in six consecutive Ryder Cup matches from 1969 to 1979.
Brian Joseph Barnes (2 March 1934 – 10 April 2024) was a British swimmer. Barnes competed in the men's 200 metre breaststroke at the 1952 Summer Olympics where he was 31st.
