This is a list of United States military units that participated in the Mexican–American War. The list includes regular U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Revenue Marine Service units and ships as well as the units of the militia that various states recruited for the war.
The Aztec Club of 1847 was founded as a military society of officers who served with the United States Army in the Mexican–American War. [1] The first rank indicated is the rank held at the forming of the club during the Mexican War; the later rank is the highest full rank the officer held in Regular, Volunteer or Confederate service.
