Ramona High School is a high school in Riverside, California, United States, part of the Riverside Unified School District, and the home of the Ramona Rams. Ramona graduated its first class of students in 1958. Ramona has been designated as a "National Demonstration School" for the AVID Program.
In 1912 another building was constructed on 9th Street adjacent to the football field, this building would hold Ramona High School classes from 1912-1936. From 1936-1969 Ramona High School classes were held in a larger building also facing Ninth Street, this building currently serves as the John H. Wilson Administrative Center.
The league dates back to 1901, when it was known as the "Interscholastic League of Southern California." [2] Prior to CIF Southern Section, founding members included Chaffey High School of Ontario (then known as Ontario High School), Redlands High School, [2] Riverside High School [2] (now known as Riverside Poly), Pomana High School [2] and San Bernardino High School.
