Schofield Barracks is a United States Army installation and census-designated place (CDP) located in Honolulu and in the Wahiawa District of the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Schofield Barracks lies adjacent to the town of Wahiawā , separated from most of it by Lake Wilson (also known as Wahiawā Reservoir ).
The 225th CSB was originally activated on 10 February 1971 in Vietnam to provide direct support to the 2nd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division. After only a few months in Vietnam, the 2nd Brigade returned to Hawaii and the 225th Combat Support Battalion was deactivated and the unit was not yet authorized distinctive unit colors or motto.
Its most current period of active service in Hawaii began a little more than a year later in 1990, when it was activated as the 25th Air Liaison Squadron at Schofield Barracks.
